This month, our school has been buzzing with excitement as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! The festivities began with our amazing interns showcasing their culture through engaging presentations for our students. These presentations have provided a vibrant mix of stories, traditions, and personal experiences, allowing students to immerse themselves in the rich diversity of Hispanic cultures.

Sra. Egstad has been leading special lessons in the library for each grade level, helping students explore Hispanic history and traditions. Her sessions have sparked curiosity and appreciation for the lasting contributions of Hispanic communities.

One of the standout moments of the celebration was our school’s participation in the Hispanic Heritage Month Parade downtown! Our students and staff came together to proudly represent our school, walking with pride and celebrating the richness of Hispanic cultures in our community.

Additionally, we’ve introduced a Hall of Fame, showcasing exceptional individuals from Hispanic countries who have made remarkable contributions in fields such as art, science, sports, and more. This tribute serves as an inspiration to our students, reminding them of the greatness they can achieve.

The celebration is far from over, and we are eager to continue honoring this important month with more exciting activities ahead!
